Call to Order at 6:46 p.m. by President Jeff Clark.

President’s Report:

President Clark welcomed all attendees and asked for a motion and a second to approve the minutes of the last Board meeting. All OVR PCA board offices are up for election this fall. Any member interested in running for office, please contact President Clark. Review and discussion of the July PCA Board of Directors annual meeting. National PCA had a record-setting financial period and gave all regions surplus refunds of $6.00 per primary region member. National PCA memberships are up 4.3%, and the 2025 Raffle Program had a 30% increase in tickets sold with eleven first and second grand prizes awarded. The resulting net income from raffles was a record-setting $2.5 million dollars. A complete meeting summary will be available on our webpage.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Autocross:

The next Autocross event is on September 12th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Trader’s World. All are welcome.

Concours:

The annual Concours Devou-Classic Car Show is September 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Devou Park in Covington, Kentucky. Parking is available at the Covington Catholic High School with shuttle service to the venue.

Driver Education:

Jeff Woodard reports that they have one hundred seventy registrants for the fall HPDE Autumn Thunder weekend at Mid-Ohio this October 2nd to 4th, with seven people on the wait list. Please RSVP as space is limited to one hundred ninety.

Historian:

Membership:

Craig Lewis monthly report: fifteen new members, twenty-six members whose membership was not renewed, and three members who transferred to another region. We have 1,308 primary members and 682 affiliate members for a grand total of 1,990 members. There were fourteen test drives and sixty-two PCA junior members. New members received welcome emails that included a list of our various OVR PCA monthly activities. Porsche of the Village owes OVR PCA $1,300.00 for new member registrations. Thanks to all of the OVR PCA volunteers who sat in the tent at The Red Brick Reunion event on August 15th to answer questions from any non-OVR PCA member participants. We continue to explore new opportunities for OVR PCA member activities and events.

Social Events:

The next Gemeinschaft event is September 13th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Warped Wing Brewery in Mason; registration is required. The F1 Spanish Grand Prix event at Hanson Audion in Dayton, Ohio is September 13th from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There is a Thirsty Thursday Social event at MOTA on September 17th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The next Cars and Coffee event is September 26th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 2490 River Bend Drive in Spring Valley. Past President Bill Altvater is hosting. The Eclipse Window Tinting annual Eclipse - OVR PCA Cruise-In is October 3rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Rallye/Tours:

Steve Krekeler reported that the Buckeye Chapter of the BMW Car Club has invited all OVR PCA members to join them for an Ohio/West Virginia Driving Tour on September 27th. The Indiana Backroad Tour is on September 19th. The tour will begin at Germania Park and will follow a 137-mile route of select Indiana roads. There will be a stop for lunch in Oldenburg, Indiana.
