Call to Order

Call to Order at 6:45 p.m. by President Jeff Clark and welcome to all 1st time attendees.

Presidents Report:

President Clark made a motion to approve the minutes posted on the webpage from our last meeting. Motion/second to accept the minutes – motion passed. The PCA Presidents were in attendance for the annual summer meeting – technology crashed during the virtual meeting, and it has been rescheduled for August 18th.

Vice President:

Vice President Nucete wanted to recognize all the hard work of Steve Krekeler and his team over the past weekend, from Milford to the Village Tour. 68 members attended the 7-run groups at the Porsche of the Village.

Treasurer:

Treasurer Miguel Alemany reported that the financials are strong and all accounts are stable.

Secretary:

Committee Reports:

Autocross:

The next Autocross event is September 13th, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Trader’s World.

Concours:

Check the OVR PCA calendar for the upcoming Concours Cars & Coffee event on September 6, 2025, in Harrison. Register at Club Registration.

Driver Education: 

Jeff Woodard reported the 2025 Autumn Thunder HPDE event will be held at Mid-Ohio on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Registration is open on Club Registration. There are 73 drivers registered and looking for 175. We are in need of volunteers to be spotters with corner workers during track time. The need is 4 volunteers each day of the event.

Historian: No Report.

Membership:  

Craig Lewis reported that in the month of July 2025, 20 new members joined/transferred into OVR PCA, while 26 members didn’t renew their membership. We have a total of 1,305 Primary Members and 669 Affiliate Members, totaling 1,974 total members. OVR PCA also had 12 Test Drive participants. Out of 149 PCA clubs OVR PCA ranks 24th in membership and is in the top 17% of total PCA club memberships.

Social Media: No report. 

Social Events:

There are many monthly events scheduled and TBA into October. See the OVR Calendar for details.

Rallye/Tours:  

Steve Krekeler reported that the Milford to the Village Tour was a great success with a record number of participants. The West Virginia Porsches in the Park event was a huge success. The 2025 West Virginia Country Roads PCA Fall Driving Tour will be September 20th and 21st. There are 37 local members attending.

Technical:  No report.

Website:

Paul Sonoda reports that there were 10 events posted on the OVR PCA calendar for August. Please use the forms on the webpage to submit events for calendar publication. There were 1,200 new visitors to the webpage last month.

Old Business:

No report.

New Business:

Kurt Niemeyer reported that on August 23, 2025 the 7th Annual Bellefontaine Hill Climb Revival event will be held at Corkscrew Hill in Zanesville, Ohio, and all are invited to attend.

Good of Order:

The next Board meeting will be September 9th with probable location to be Ferrari’s Little Itay but that is subject to be change.
