Call to Order
6:55 p.m. by President Jeff Clark and welcome to all 1st time attendees. July is full of events, so please check the OVR PCA calendar often. Introduced Joel Cost, who is the ambassador for the West Virginia region of OVR PCA.
Presidents Report:
President Clark made a motion to approve the minutes posted on the webpage from our last meeting. Motion/second to accept the minutes – motion passed. Upcoming PORSCHE IN THE PARK event on August 2nd, 2025, in Hurricane, West Virginia – see OVR PCA calendar for details. There are GEMEINSCHAFT events scheduled through October. Steve and Phil have set up an August tour with Porsche of the Village as a sponsor. The 2025 Porsche Parade event is underway in Oklahoma. There is in the works a collaboration with the Wenzel Distillery in Covington, KY – Vice President Nucete will be reporting on. President Clark will be attending the PCA Summer National Board of Directors and Executive Council meeting on July 28th, 2025.
Vice President:
OVR PCA is working with Wenzel Distillery to develop an OVR PCA single barrel blend, with specialty labels for release in September. In October there will be a Wenzel Distillery tasting event and a wine testing event with food at the Merchants Club in Northen Kentucky on August 14th, 2025. OVR PCA is working with the Newport Car Barn on a food/drink event to benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Committee Reports:
Autocross:
Kumar Viswalingam reported that the next event is August 9th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Trader’s World.
Concours:
Mark Wilson reported the Sozo Loveland Church Concours had 46 registrations with 37 participants. The next event is the Red Brick Reunion in Oxford on August 16th. There will be a Taste of Harrison Concours event on September 6, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Harrison, Ohio. There will also be an October Concours event on October 14, 2025 with details TBA.
Driver Education:
The 2025 Jerry Wolf Spring Classic HPDE event held at Mid-Ohio on May 30th, 31st and June 1st went well and was a great success.
Historian: No Report.
Membership:
Craig Lewis reported that in the month of June 2025, 25 new members joined/transferred into OVR PCA, while 27 members didn’t renew their membership. We have a total of 1,297 Primary Members and 659 Affiliate Members, totaling 1,966 total members. OVR PCA also had 15 Test Drive participants. An email was sent to all members that did not renew their membership, encouraging them to do so while also soliciting their feedback through a five question survey about OVR PCA activities in which they participated and anything we could have done better to keep them engaged and maintain their membership.

Social Events:

Rallye/Tours:
Steve Kreleler reported that the annual Athens event had 45 cars in attendance and all went well. They are working on a tour/lunch event with Porsche of the Village.
Past President: No report.
Safety: David McCarthy is the new Safety Chair.
Technical: No report.
Website: Paul Sonoda reminds everyone that event forms are on the website, and he is seeking more content, feedback and photos from the annual events to add to the website.
