Autocross – A Day of Fun and Fast Times!

Kickoff to the 2025 OVR/PCA Autocross Season
The 2025 OVR/PCA autocross season has begun! Last Saturday, May 17th, we had our first autocross of the season. The day was brimming with sunshine, Porsche drivers, and delicious heirloom chocolate chip cookies. The 12-acre lot at Traders World Market gave our team plenty of area to get creative with the course design. The day started off with a fast, technical course and with dedicated instructors on site who helped guide drivers to better times and bigger smiles all around.
We had four different classes of cars on Saturday, the largest class being the P2 or the Porsche Mid-Engine class. Not too far behind, the X1 (Non-Porsche) and P3 (911) classes were tied in second for the number of cars present. As for the fastest time overall, that goes to Kumar Viswalingam of the X1 class with a time of 40.36 seconds in his 2004 Mazda Miata MX-5. For the fastest time per class, in the P2 class, it was Rob Klutts with a 48.5 in his 2008 Porsche Boxster and the P3 class it was Wyatt Thesing with a 42.76 in his 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S. Our most improved driver throughout the day was Jacob Chesley in his 2008 Porsche Boxster S, who cut a whopping 8.69 seconds.
With the nice weather and crowd, our first run of the season was brilliant. We had a diverse lineup of cars, everything from a Porsche Cayman to a Subaru BRZ. Everything from fully developed racecars to everyday streetcars you’d see on the highway showed up. Once we were done with runs, the team completed the cleanup by 2:00 pm.
To make more fun memories and better times, please join us on Saturday, June 28th, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm for our second event of the season. We provide everything needed for a half-day event of fun in your cars with other like-minded enthusiasts. Please invite your friends and family, as we include all cars, makes, and models. Like this past event, your GPS will lead you to Trader's World Market, 601 Union Rd, Lebanon, OH, 45036, North Entrance. At the gate, there will be a $2.00 fee per car, not per person.
